This bakery is a gem. We are from Australia and were staying around the corner from this bakery. The sourdough bread is the best, as to the freshly made sandwiches we would pick up before heading out hiking. Jen makes the most delicious, slices, croissants, and cakes. Her hot cross buns the best. Also great coffee, would take my mug in each morning for a latte. Masham bakery & Jen all the best for continued success.

Happened upon this bakery by accident (we were looking for another bakery/cafe but got the wrong location) anyway, the lady here made us fabulous cheese and ham salad sandwiches from the most amazing cheesy sourdough bread - it was so delicious we intend making a detour on the way home just to buy some of the bread. The cakes looked delicious too.

This is undoubtedly one of the best bakeries around. The bread is superb, but it's the cakes that really stand out. I had the best ever carrot cake and madeira cake I've ever tasted, and there is a good range of other cakes too. The sausage rolls and cheese and onion pasties are also great. If you are in the area, don't miss out!

If you love ginger, you will love their ginger slices. I bought two as I’ve never seen one before. Now I wish I bought the whole tray! Fresh ginger in a moist and moreish oatcake base. Fella loved his carrot cake. So fresh. Great bakery. I’ll be coming for more!

Very nice beef salad and reasonable price. £2.40 for large sandwich.
Called in here before returning home . The owner was very friendly and welcoming. Purchased a wheatmeal loaf. There was a great selection of cakes so also bought pieces of Carrot Cake and Lime Coconut . The bread was soft and light in texture and the cakes were utterly delicious. The best home made cake I have bought from any shop. And excellent value. Will be back for more when in the area.

Very good value for money - 2 cakes, 1 loaf of fruit cake, 1 large sandwich, 1 small sandwich and 2 hot chocolates, 2 packets of crisps for £13. It's £13 for only two sandwiches for us back home in Chatwins! So we thought it was very reasonable.
I very much enjoyed having a good chat with the man behind the counter about his trip to Africa 😃 Also very good guides for social distancing, masks are compulsory. You feel very safe as only one person is allowed in at a time.

Really great Bakery in Masham. Really good made to order filled Cobs/ Babs. Really friendly and helpful owner. Nothing was too much trouble. We also bought some local bread flour to make bread with. Highly recommended.

Great little bakery. Popped in last week for some delicious bread cakes and treated myself to some mince pies, absolutely fabulous, beautiful pastry and mincemeat. A Gem of a bakery
Delicious food. Staff were incredibly friendly and professional. Pop in for some fantastic bakery goods.
Lovely tasty food brilliant prices less than 2.50 for a sandwiche most of them anyway and it's open as normal maps said it was closed but the owner says he hasn't been closed since lockdown ended
